This site belongs to the DM residents (senior residents in Cardiology) of Government Medical College Calicut, Kerala, India. Each year 6 residents are admitted to the department as there are 6 qualified teachers. Academic activities are conducted from 8.15 Am to 9.30 Am on all days except Sundays. Academic sessions include Journal Clubs, Journal reviews on major topics, Symposiums, Cath discussions, presentation of interesting and rare cases, ECG sessions, Imaging sessions, and clinical case discussions. We are uploading the slides prepared by our residents in this site purely for academic purpose. We refer standard text books in Cardiology like Braunwald, Hurst, Moss and Adams, Zypes, Grossman, Perloff, Freedom, Kurt Amplatz etc. The journals referred include JACC, Circulation, NEJM, European Heart Journal, AHJ, Lancet, JASE, and Echocardiography, Indian Heart Journal etc. We are grateful to these esteemed journals and text books in preparing these topics. The references are shown in each slide as far as possible. The hard work done by the residents in preparing these topics will be in vain if we don’t save these slides somewhere. All residents must refrain from copying these slides during their presentations; otherwise your career and quest for knowledge will be destroyed. Always refer the latest articles available while preparing your topics as there are no short cuts for learning.

These slides should not be uploaded in any other sites. Anybody who is interested in learning the subject may refer these slides, but NEVER CUT COPY PASTE during your presentations as that will destroy your abilities.
